Crisis Nursery

Crisis Nursery creates an "Island of Safety" dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing 24-hour emergency care for children and support to strengthen families in crisis. Crisis Nursery is a free service and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Child Care Resource Service

Child Care Resource Service (CCRS) is a resource and referral service serving parents in Champaign, Douglas, Iroquois, Macon, Piatt, and Vermilion counties. CCRS helps parents locate available childcare and maintains current, detailed information on more than six hundred licensed and licensed-exempt centers and family childcare providers in East Central Illinois. Staff persons are experienced professionals who assist parents in clarifying their childcare needs and evaluating quality center or family childcare arrangements.

The Child Development Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign focuses on the support of teaching, research, and outreach/engagement activities, while at the same time providing high quality early care and education services for enrolled children and their families.
